Letter from the Creator

As a storyteller, I’ve always craved a space to blend my love for fashion, travel, photography, curation, and writing. I’ve spent the past few years building a career as a content creator on social media, and while I love creating in that space, I often felt constrained by algorithms, trends, and the constant pressure to keep up.

I wanted somewhere of my own—a space where I could create, write, style, photograph, and curate without having to fit everything into a post or keep up with the pace of a feed.

Modèle is that space.

What began as a monthly online magazine has evolved into something more personal and more flexible. Today, each edition is inspired by a destination and shaped by the experience of being there. I explore the fashion, beauty, places, people, and everyday details that make somewhere feel distinct, alongside the stories and observations that stay with me after I leave.

I don’t want Modèle to simply tell you where to go or what to buy. I want it to make you look a little closer — at a place, at your own style, and at the way you experience the world around you.

The name Modèle is inspired by the Farsi word moh-del, meaning “stylish” or “model”—a tribute to my Iranian roots and to my grandmother, whose elegance and style continue to inspire me.

She was a woman always draped in gold jewelry, with her hair done to the nines and her outfits perfectly polished. I’ve always sworn that sense of style runs in my blood.

I think that’s part of what I’ve always wanted Modèle to be: a place to explore the things I genuinely love — getting dressed, discovering new places, beautiful photography, good writing, and all of the little details that make an experience memorable.
